We offer this Post-Master’s Bridge program to help you become certified:

Certificate of Advanced Study in Mental Health Counseling (15 credits) – Makes you eligible to apply for the Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license

Curriculum & Learning Outcomes

Application Process

All applicants must complete the multi-step process managed by the Center for Graduate Studies.
1. Submit application
2. Request all official transcripts
3. Review and submit required application materials through the Application Status Portal
4. International applicants must also submit international materials

Best Consideration Dates

Fall Semester: July 15
Spring Semester: November 15
Summer Semester: April 15

Research

Past students have conducted graduate research projects that examined the efficacy of individual and group counseling approaches or of programs designed to support holistic growth in K-12 students.

They have presented at research conferences from local all the way up to the national level, and many have received awards for their presentations. Several other students have had their work published in journals for the professional counseling field.
