Curriculum

This 12-credit hour certificate program is designed for individuals who already hold a master’s degree in school counseling. The program entails completion of 12 additional credit hours designed to help school counselors become permanently certified in New York State.

The core of this program, which is taught online, develops the student’s skills in diagnosis and in systems approaches to counseling. Student can choose from online or in-classroom courses to complete the program.
