The EOP Program at SUNY Brockport is committed to assisting students who wish to continue their education beyond the undergraduate level.

What is EOP?

The Arthur O. Eve Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) combines access, academic support and supplemental financial assistance to make higher education more accessible for students despite academic college preparedness and limited financial resources. The primary mission of the EOP is to facilitate these students’ enrollment, graduation and ultimately succession within and beyond their undergraduate degree.

Students accepted to the University through EOP participate fully in all campus academic and social activities and are held to the same standards and regulations as all other university students.

What can EOP do for you?

EOP provides an avenue for student learning and support in obtaining a degree in higher education. With a well-trained, dedicated and experienced staff and in collaboration with many other components of the University, EOP provides assistance with the admission process and all aspects of financial aid, academic, career choice, preparation and planning, as well as personal counseling. EOP also provides holistic preparation and support to students through a four week residential First-Year Summer Academy. In addition, students are supported by a peer-tutoring program as well as many other support services activities designed to support retention and perseverance to the completion of the degree in higher education.
