Why ROTC?
Army ROTC teaches you to lead. This program provides you with managerial skills necessary to organize and effectively lead in the Army, corporations, small businesses, or other organizations.
Students can also take ROTC as an elective or pursue the entire program, which culminates in a commission as a Second Lieutenant—an Army Officer.
Our students have a regular course schedule and declare a separate academic major.
Career Outlook
Cadets who are commissioned as Second Lieutenants (Officers) at the culmination of the program are prepared to become managers within the Army. They are tasked with making important decisions in stressful situations, and they are entrusted with the safety of the men and women under their command.
Being an Officer in the US Army will not only serve as a point of pride, but it will also be useful to you in your civilian career.
