What You’ll Learn
Learn how to work in a variety of settings and with a variety of populations planning, implementing, and evaluating programs, creating and disseminating health communication materials, and organizing and leading collaborative efforts within and across organizations.
The program prepares students to take the National Health Education Specialist exam to earn the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) or Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES) designation.

The Masters of Public Health program is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). This means the program meets high standards of quality and rigorously prepares students to enter the public health workforce.
Program Eligibility

Evidence of having successfully completed (“C” or better) at least two semesters of anatomy and physiology 1 and 2 or one semester of survey of anatomy and physiology.

Evidence of having successfully completed (“C” or better) one semester of statistics at the undergraduate level.
