• NY Public Library Card
  • Anyone with a NY State drivers license may apply for a NY Public library card. Some databases are accessible remotely.
• NYS Databases for Employees
  • These databases are provided by NYS for employees. In order to use them, you’ll need to sign up for an NYS Library “P” card.
• RRLC Access Pass
  • The RRLC Access Pass allows you to use participating libraries in the Rochester region on site as a guest. For program requirements and requests, contact Pam O’Sullivan (posulliv@brockport.edu). Requires registration in person (Monday - Friday only).

Drake Memorial Library accepts purchase requests for eBooks, books, and other resources to assist in your students’ coursework and your scholarship and research. Please see our FAQ for specific steps on how to order items.

You can use Adobe Acrobat DC or Adobe Acrobat Pro to run OCR (Optical Character Recognition) on your PDFs in order to make them accessible and searchable. Adobe Acrobat DC and Adobe Acrobat Pro are different from Adobe Acrobat Reader in that they allow you to edit and manipulate PDF documents.

• Adobe Acrobat DC is available on College owned PCs by opening a ticket with the IT Service Desk.

Interlibrary Loan is the service that gives you access to the resources of other libraries. Use ILL to:

• Borrow books and media (Most items arrive in 7 - 10 business days)
• Get PDFs of articles and book chapters (Average time is 3-5 days)
