How do I receive care when the Health Center is closed?
You may utilize our after-hours non-emergency nurse triage line by calling (585) 395-2414 for medical/counseling advice ONLY. Follow the prompts to connect to FONEMED. Registered nurses* are available to talk with students to help determine a plan of care.
*Note: These nurses do not have the ability to schedule appointments, provide test results or access to your chart. For routine questions, please call back when the Health Center is open.
With the exception of emergency situations in which a student is unable to assume responsibility, all medical information is confidential. The Student Health Center will not share information concerning the health of a student without the student’s permission. Notification of parents, University faculty and administrators is considered the student’s responsibility.
