Important Wage Updates

Effective December 19, 2024, the minimum wage for current student employees (work-study and temporary service) will increase from $15 to $15.50 per hour.

Start your job hunt by heading to Handshake —a database that gives you access to on-campus jobs, off-campus jobs, internships, and full/part-time job opportunities.

How to access Handshake:

  • Log in using your Brockport NetID & password
  • Choose the jobs of interest to you
  • Contact each employer individually (you may be asked to interview, or submit an application and/or resume)

Student Employment Dates for Summer and Fall 2024 (Referrals required)

  • May 18, 2024 is the first day students can work for the summer.
  • August 15, 2024 is the first day students can work under Temp Services funds for the Fall semester.
  • August 23, 2024 is the first day students can work under Work Study funds for the Fall semester.
