The anticipation is just about over. The academic year gets underway on Monday. A week from now, the entering class of 2025 will be on campus. It has been a very busy summer preparing for the new year. Thank you to everyone for the hard and great work you have done.
Some news and notes …
- I am excited to share the addition of two new staff who will both begin on Thursday, Aug. 28. We are extremely lucky to add these two new people to our team, one on the Advancement side and one with University Communications. Please join me in welcoming both:

Amanda Lindley will be our newest graphic designer. She was with the Seneca Park Zoo as the creative manager and previously worked at both SUNY Geneseo and RIT. She brings a wealth of experience to our team, and we are confident she will be a tremendous addition.

In addition, Erica Linden, previously the Village of Brockport Manager, is joining as the Director of Foundation and Governmental Relations, a newly created position that gives us the opportunity to bring someone with outstanding skills in a number of areas to the University.

- Our friends in Student Affairs are still looking for Team Leaders for Saturday of Service. If interested, please reach out to them right away by using this form.
- Supervisors: Make sure 2024-25 evaluations and 2025-26 performance program are completed and submitted to HR as soon as possible. Thank you.
- Just a reminder that the summer Work From Home (WFH) schedule ends today.
- The list of upcoming dates (below) includes a few key ones for next week, including the Faculty/Staff Convocation and lunch on Tuesday. See you there!
