Graphic Design Minor

Description

Graphic Designers use words, symbols and images to convey ideas and information as a means to resolve visual communications needs. The visual, conceptual, and technological topics explored in the minor provide other majors with a useful basic skill set in graphic design. The Graphic Design minor also allows majors in the departments of Communication and Journalism and Broadcasting to have a highly complementary additional area of specialized study.

Students who wish to study the topic in more depth should consider the Graphic Design Major.
