Description
Administered by the Department of Journalism and Social Media, the courses in the interdisciplinary Social Media Minor introduce students to this rapidly growing field. Students learn and practice the content creation skills used across many professions and the media literacy skills needed to critically analyze social media content. Admission to the Program
Any undergraduate student can declare this minor.
Program Requirements
Students with a minor in Social Media must complete a total of 18 credit hours (6 courses) including 9 credit hours of Required Courses and 9 credit hours of Electives.
