All charges are on a semesterly basis, and payment may not be deferred except on authorized financial aid.
Some charges are compulsory for all students. Examples of compulsory charges are tuition, University Fee, Brockport Student Government Fee, Athletic Fee, Technology Fee and Health Fee. These charges are different for full-time and part-time students. You are considered a full-time student if you enroll for 12 or more credits a semester.

Charged to students matriculated in programs designated as 100% Online by the New York State Education Department. This rate is applicable only to programs (not individual courses) that have approved as 100% online by the New York State Education Department (NYSED). Students who are considered non-resident (out-of-state), and are enrolled in online courses are not eligible for the “100% online” (online only) rate if they are not matriculated in one the programs designated as 100% online by NYSED. Students studying remotely (enrolled in one or more online course) who are not matriculated in an approved 100% online program will be assessed the standard tuition amount relevant to their residency (i.e., in-state or out-of-state).
- Online-Only Undergraduate: $353 per credit hour/$4,240 full-time
- Online-Only Graduate: $565 per credit hour/$6,785 full-time

For students enrolled in the Medical Technology Program, in addition to SUNY tuition and fees, students in their clinical year will be charged tuition and fees by the School of Medical Technology (Rochester General Hospital).
