Dedicated to Inclusion

We’re here to guide efforts to communicate to the University and outside community Brockport’s devotion to diversity and equity.

By actively overseeing our University’s EDI Plan, crafting and assessing reports to gauge our progress, and organizing educational events that promote diversity, we are fostering a campus community that fills us all with pride.

24th Annual Diversity Conference

 “Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in Our Current Landscape”

We invite and encourage students, faculty and staff to submit a proposal. We request proposals that are 45 - 75 minutes in length (including Q&A) that relate to the conference theme.  Proposals are due no later than April 24, 2026.

Our Liberal Arts Building has acquired a new name: the Fannie Barrier Williams Liberal Arts Building, named after our first African-American female graduate in 1870.
