In the News!
- It was fantastic welcoming Molly Bojanek to the team last week. Molly is the new Coordinator of Advancement Communications. Two other open searches – Web Content Specialist and Leadership Giving Officer – are coming down the home stretch.
- Two major fundraising programs – the 2024-25 Faculty/Staff Campaign and the Day of Giving – will be starting soon. The F/S Campaign will launch next month and the Day of Giving process will culminate on Wed., April 9, 2025. We will seek support from across the Division to help us hit our goals for both important initiatives.
- Zach and Sophia have logged some serious air miles the last few weeks with trips to Iceland and Alaska to cover student and alumni stories. Can’t wait to see the finished projects.
- Thanks to everyone who helped – in any way – with the first Open House earlier this month and will be assisting with the one on Nov. 9. These are critically important recruitment events for the campus.
- The Brockport Foundation scholarship cycle for 2025-26 begins on Nov. 15 (and runs through Feb. 15). Hundreds of thousands of dollars are available so encourage students to begin applying. Here’s a link: https://www.brockport.edu/alumni/be-generous/scholarships/scholarship-timeline/
