SUNY Brockport’s Social Work program has three prerequisite courses. If you are not pursuing the A.S. in Human Services, it is required to take the following courses as part of your MCC degree to be eligible for the program at Brockport:

*Note: Social Work is a fall-start-only major at Brockport. Prerequisites must be completed (with a “C” or better) prior to starting the program. A 2.5 cumulative GPA is required, in addition to an associate’s degree, or at least 64 transferable credits. Students interested in the Online Degree Completion program should be aware of the March 1st priority deadline. For best consideration, prerequisites should be completed prior to this date.
**If your SUNY Natural Science general education requirement is already satisfied, the lab for BIO 133 is not required. If Natural Science is still needed, you may take BIO 132 to satisfy the lab. BIO 134 and 135 (together) also accepted.
