Anthropology Professor Published Article with Spanish Research Team

Anthropology Professor, Dr. Alex Smith, has recently published “Expanding Cultural and Natural Heritage Through Archaeology: An Application of Cultural Keystone Places (CKP) in the Medieval Mediterranean” with Kathleen Forste (Brown University) and Amalia Pérez-Juez (Boston University) in the journal Ethnobiology Letters. The reserach is based on his work on the Spanish Balearic Island of Menorca where he has been taking Brockport students and alumni since 2021.
