Undergraduate students took part in a career development day that included workshops, master classes, and seminars focused on future career pathways. Graduate dance students engaged in professional development and networking sessions with peers and master teachers.
Third‑year MFA student Reign Capers performed a section of their thesis creative research that also featured undergraduate dance and public health education major Anaheysha Baptiste‑White. Assistant Professor Heather Acomb led a workshop grounded in her research on Yoga and Movement Analysis, and Professor and Chair Carlos R. A. Jones taught a master class on jazz dance creative processes for educators across all sectors. Adjunct Professor Deborah Lipa–Ciotta (’86, ’89) was honored with the 2026 NYSDEA Award for Outstanding Dance Educator: PreK–12.
