The two presented research at the American Physical Society Global Physics Summit 2026 on using iron oxide nanoparticles to clean ‘forever chemicals’ from water.
Avery presented a poster while Dr. Repa gave a talk and chaired an oral presentation session, among other activities. Their research was well-received by attendees. In addition to presenting their work, they attended many engaging sessions ranging from how knots work, to innovative teaching labs using chocolate, cutting-edge measurement techniques, and the current state of American science.
The American Physical Society is one of the largest professional physics organizations in the world and their Global Physics Summit is the largest physics conference in the world with more than 14,000 attendees who converged to Denver, Colorado during Spring Break.
