Dr. Alex Smith and Emily Yahn, recently published the short article “Frost Town’s “Frozen Charlotte” Doll: Evidence of Family Life at a Logging Village in Ontario County, New York,” which appeared in New York History’s summer issue (105.1). This article and the research therein was based on an internship Emily completed with Dr. Smith in the Spring of 2023 on the dolls found in association with the Frost Town Archaeology project.
