At the European Association of Archaeologists annual meeting held at Sapienza University of Rome between August 28-September 1, Dr. Smith presented a paper titled, ‘Indigenous imitation and global interaction: understanding the pottery of the post-Talayotic, late iron age at Torre d’en Galmes, Menorca’, and was a session chair for ‘Eternal Rest In The West: Funerary Contexts In Western Mediterranean Protohistory.’ He also was a coauthor on two other papers, one with his Spanish colleagues titled, ‘Living in circles: daily life in Menorca from protohistoric times to the Middle ages.’
