Connecting to the 2024 conference theme, REVITALIZE: Breathing New Life into Your Dance Programs and Teaching Methods, Jones’ keynote address Let go and let your (____) transform: Freedom in a World of Uncertainty, inspired dance educators from around the globe to consider letting go of outdated programs and teaching practices as a path to revitalizing self, departments, and the field of dance.

On day two of the conference, Jones led the conference attendees in a movement centered plenary utilizing research from his edited volume Rooted Jazz Dance:  Africanist Aesthetics and Equity in the 20th Century. The plenary, Liberation Nation: The Soul Train Line as Assessment, was an embodies workshop where attendees experienced Jones innovations in teaching and assessing Jazz Dance technique.
