Bio
Holly has been a practitioner in the field of Human Resource Management for almost 25 years, holding positions across some of the larger companies in Rochester. In her current role at Safran Federal Systems (SFS), she leads the HR function and strategy.
Holly earned a doctorate from the University of Maryland, with her research area examining the ethics of hiring decisions and non-job-related factors that influence hiring decisions. This was built upon her master’s degree in human resource management from Nazareth University. Holly is an alum of Brockport where she earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration.
In addition to her professional experience, Holly stayed close to Brockport, returning as a guest speaker in various classes, and also has been an adjunct faculty in the School of Business for many years. This experience has allowed her to apply her practical experience to scholarship to support students’ learning. Holly believes in the importance of being a part of the community and served on the Board of Directors for the Greater Rochester Habitat for Humanity for over 10 years. While there, she also chaired the all-volunteer HR committee.
Holly is originally from the Washington, DC area and lives in Rochester with her husband, Jason.
