Veronica Droser joined the Golden Eagle family in Fall 2019. From a very young age Dr. Droser was taught the value and importance of community engagement. Whether she was putting up holiday decorations at a local nursing home or raising money for her high school swim team – community was always front and center. During college, Dr. Droser took an interpersonal communication course and learned that these relationship are the foundation of community. She was immediately drawn to researching relationships, which led her to pursue a PhD in Communication Studies with a focus on Interpersonal and Family Communication. At SUNY Brockport, Dr. Droser has continued this line of scholarship, researching relational health and well-being. Dr. Droser teaches courses in Interpersonal Communication, Conflict Management, and Interviewing. When she is not at work she enjoys baking, running, and spending time with her partner and her dog.
