Bio
Dr. Jones earned her baccalaureate degree in nursing from the University of Rochester in 1994. Following graduation, she began working on a Cardiac Step-Down Unit at Strong Memorial Hospital. After working for one year at Strong, Uletha left the Rochester area and was commissioned as an Ensign in the United States Navy Nurse Corps. Uletha worked in the clinical areas of critical care, emergency/trauma and the operating room. This opportunity also offered her the chance to live in Bethesda, Maryland, Guam, Micronesia Islands, Pensacola, Florida, and Camp Pendleton, California.
In 2009, Uletha earned her Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. While working on her Doctorate in 2011, Uletha received orders to deploy to Afghanistan for 9 months. Upon returning, she resumed her degree program and graduated with her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree from Duquesne University in 2014.
She enjoys running competitively, spending time with family, traveling, scuba diving and hiking.
