We encourage students to utilize the “direct deposit” option for faster access to their overpayment refunds. Direct deposit means excess loan proceeds will be deposited directly into the bank account specified by the student.
Students can access QuikPAY’s direct deposit enrollment from Web banner’s Student Accounts menu. QuikPAY uses the highest industry standard for encryption, so direct deposit is more secure than a check - there’s nothing to be stolen or to get lost in the mail! Typically, a student receives funds via direct deposit a week faster than a paper check, which are mailed to the student’s address of record.
To enroll in QuickPay refund Direct Deposit, students should:
- Log into Brockportal using their Brockport NetID and Password
- Select the “Student Accounts” menu
- Click on “Bills, Payments, Refunds, and More”
- Scroll down and click on “Direct Deposit Enrollment” under “Enroll in direct deposit for your refund”
- Follow the instructions
Please note:
Parents who borrow PLUS loans are NOT eligible to participate in the direct deposit refunding option. Any overpayment will be returned to a parent in the form of a check.
