Students seeking additional certificate(s) outside of SUNY Brockport programs, would not receive a college recommendation in TEACH for additional certificate(s).
SUNY Brockport representatives, NYSED and BOCES certification offices are unable to pre-approve courses for additional certificates. Please see a full list of certification requirements with descriptions of each requirement in the Search Certification Requirements.
If you are seeking additional certificate(s) in the following areas, please contact the Certification Office at certification@brockport.edu, if you would like an information sheet emailed to you.
- Students in the Childhood Education Inclusive Program, seeking an additional certificate in Early Childhood (birth-grade 2).
- Students in the Early Childhood Education Inclusive Program, seeking an additional certificate in Childhood (grades 1-6).
- Additional certificates in a content area, special subject area, agriculture, and business and marketing.
