Services in the Union

Located in the Union lobby near the student mail room, the ATM is a convenient, on-campus banking option. Provided and maintained by Advantage Federal Credit Union, this machine can be used to withdraw cash, pay bills, or check your bank account balance. You do not need to have an account with Advantage Federal Credit Union to use this ATM. However, you should check your bank’s ATM policies prior to using this machine to see if your bank charges fees for using out-of-network machines.

Please report any problems with the ATM to the Office of Student Union, Leadership, and Activities.

Are broken, outdated, or unwanted electronics cluttering up your space? If so, bring them to the Union for disposal! An electronics recycling bin can be found in the lobby, conveniently located near the ATM and student mail room. Drop off your unwanted electronics todays!

Currently accepting items like computers, monitors, computer accessories, printers, cell phones, video game systems, DVD players, projectors, speakers, small handheld electronics, cords/cables, printer ink, CDs/DVDs, etc. Please, no large TVs or appliances like refrigerators, microwaves, etc.

As part of the University’s dedication to student health and wellbeing, multiple HydroMassage water massage chairs have been installed throughout the building. Located in the basement lounge, Joey Jackson Intercultural Center, and on the second floor landing, these innovative massage chairs use waves of heated water to massage targeted areas of your body for a personalized and relaxing experience. Simply sit in the chair, program the cycle timer, and push the start button! Once the massage cycle begins, you can adjust the location and force of the jets to customize your experience.

Are you a commuter student who doesn’t want to store study materials in your car? Does your class require you to bring several books or pieces of specialized equipment each day? If so, consider renting a storage locker in the Union! Located in the basement lounge, these lockers are like the ones most students used in high school. Measurements of each locker are 30 inches tall, 10 inches across, and 14 inches deep.

To rent a storage locker, students must complete this reservation form. Please note that locker rentals are only available for current SUNY Brockport students. You must be enrolled in at least one class each semester to rent a locker. Additionally, students are responsible for providing their lock and abiding by all associated policies. More information on locker use policy can be found in the registration form.

Failure to complete a locker reservation form or follow locker use policies may result in the removal of your belongings from the locker.

Sometimes, paper documents are just better. Conveniently located in the computer lounge and The Space, the Union has multiple printing stations available for use. Both printers utilize the Pharos: Web Printing system, meaning you can upload your documents to the print cloud from anywhere on campus. Be sure to keep track of your printing balance throughout the semester!

A Safe Exchange Zone is located in the lobby of the Union. Typically used by people who purchase items through Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, etc., this is a location where the buyer and seller can meet up to exchange their goods. To ensure your safety, the Safe Exchange Zone is monitored by University Police via overhead security camera. The Safe Exchange Zone also features comfortable seating to use while you wait for the other party to arrive.
