How to Affirm Enrollment and Accept Financial Responsibility

An enrolled student is defined as one who has registered for courses and accepted responsibility for all associated charges.

SUNY Brockport refers to this as having affirmed enrollment and accepting financial responsibility. Regardless of how students register, ALL students must go online to the “affirm enrollment” link and reserve their course schedule. By affirming enrollment, students agree they will receive all billing statements electronically via their Brockport email address, and further agree they are solely responsible for payment of all charges on or before the stated payment deadline. The deadline for affirming enrollment can be found in the Schedule of Classes, or on the Registration and Records homepage at www.brockport.edu/registrar. Students are not required to submit payment in order to lock in their course registration schedule. If students have not affirmed enrollment and accepted financial responsibility by the specified deadline, the course schedule will be removed. This process must be completed each semester.
