Educational Opportunity Program

The EOP Program at SUNY Brockport is committed to assisting students who wish to continue their education beyond the undergraduate level.

What is EOP?

The Arthur O. Eve Educational Opportunity Program (EOP), founded in 1967, combines access, academic support, and supplemental financial assistance to make higher education more accessible for students despite academic college preparedness and limited financial resources.

The primary mission of Educational Opportunity Program is to facilitate students’ enrollment, graduation, and ultimately success within and beyond their undergraduate degree.

What can EOP do for you?

EOP provides an avenue for student learning and support in obtaining a degree in higher education. Each EOP student is also eligible for a graduate school application fee waiver for every graduate school to which they apply.
With a well-trained, dedicated, and experienced staff, and in collaboration with many other campus partners, EOP provides:

  • Assistance with the admissions process
  • Support with all aspects of financial aid
  • Academic support services
  • Career choice planning
  • Personal counseling
  • Graduate school application fee waivers for each graduate school application

EOP also provides holistic preparation and support to students through a four-week residential First-Year Summer Academy.
